Repolicy Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-07-23

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Repolicy, a software as a service product provided by Circle Of Bytes ApS ("Circle Of Bytes", "we", "us"). By signing in to app.repolicy.io, connecting a customer tenant, or otherwise using the service, you ("you", "the Customer") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Repolicy is a multi-tenant portal for managing Microsoft Intune policy as code across customer tenants. Git is the source of truth; Repolicy renders, diffs, approves and orchestrates policy changes, detects configuration drift, and supports ring-based rollouts. The service is intended for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT professionals administering Microsoft Intune on behalf of one or more organizations.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must sign in with a valid Microsoft Entra account and be authorized to administer the tenants you connect. You are responsible for the acts of the users you grant access and for keeping credentials secure. You must be able to enter a binding contract and use the service only for lawful purposes.

3. Connecting customer tenants and authority

To manage a customer tenant, a Global Administrator of that tenant grants a one-time admin consent to the multi-tenant "Repolicy Connector" application, which receives app-only Microsoft Graph permissions limited to Intune device-management configuration and the read scopes needed to resolve assignments and device state (the exact scopes are listed in our Privacy Policy). You represent and warrant that you are authorized to connect each tenant you onboard and to direct changes to its Intune configuration. Consent can be revoked at any time from the tenant's Enterprise Applications, which immediately cuts off Repolicy's Graph access.

4. Your content and GitHub configuration

Your policy configuration lives in your own (or your customer's) GitHub repository. You retain all rights to that content. You grant us the limited right to read and write that repository through a GitHub App installation, scoped to contents, pull requests, checks and metadata, solely to provide the service. You are responsible for the contents of your repositories and for having the rights to use them.

5. Safety model and acceptable use

Repolicy only modifies policies it created (identified by a Repolicy marker), writes nothing without a planned diff and an explicit approval, and applies only changes permitted by server-side allowlists. You agree not to misuse the service, including not attempting to bypass tenant isolation, access another customer's data, probe or disrupt the service, or use it to manage tenants you are not authorized to manage. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving every change Repolicy applies to your tenants.

6. Billing

Any paid subscription is sold and billed separately through Stripe, our payment processor, under the plan and price presented at checkout in the application. Payment terms, invoicing, taxes, trials and cancellation are handled by Stripe and the plan you select. We store no card data. The Microsoft commercial-marketplace listing for Repolicy is a free, list-only listing for discovery and does not itself bill you.

7. Service availability and support

We aim to keep the service available and to provide support at the level described for your plan, but the service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Support contact: tma@circleofbytes.com.

8. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design and documentation, is owned by Circle Of Bytes and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Microsoft, Intune, Entra and related marks are the property of Microsoft; Repolicy is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Microsoft.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Repolicy is a control and automation layer over Microsoft Intune; you are responsible for the correctness and impact of the policies you choose to apply. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Circle Of Bytes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and revoke tenant consent at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse. On termination, your policy content remains in your own GitHub repositories and in your tenants; see the Privacy Policy for deletion of data we hold.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Denmark have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at https://www.repolicy.io/terms with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
